Hi. I just purchased my very first TT. My family and I have been camping for 10 plus years with kids and 20 plus years before kids. We finally got tired of tent camping and dealing with unexpected changes in weather so we decided to get a TT. We purchased a Cherokee Grey Wolf 26DBH. We were not planning on getting such a large TT but at the end of the day we said "ef it" and we went all in. We also did not plan on buying a new TT but given the sellers' market that we are in right now it only made sense. The different between new and used has been only a few K, so we went with new.

We are in Northern Jersey and usually camp up in the Catskills in NY. That's about it for now. I'll start picking everyone's brains later on in the different forums.

Have a great day.

Welcome to the forum and the world of RVing. Congrats on your purchase of a Cherokee Grey Wolf 26DBH. You may want to post your questions on Cherokee sub-forum. You will get better responses to your questions. Enjoy and :signhavefun: Later RJD

Welcome aboard and your story is exactly our families! Went with the 26DBH as well. Good used market is at a premium, new only slightly more!

Congrats and enjoy!

There will be many a day that you will be so very glad to have 'such a large TT'. Also, with a new camper, there will be 'warranty' issues that will come up and you will be glad that you have a 'warranty'.

Any questions fire away. I would suggest getting a set of Tire Minders. One 'low tire' alert will pay for itself. One shredded tire and body damage you will really wish you had had the TST 507 tire minders.

Welcome to the Forum.... :campfire:

We've bought one tt and one mh over the past few years and we also found that the price of a new unit wasn't much more than a used unit.

You're going to enjoy the freedom of pulling into a site, hooking up and going out to enjoy the scenery. As former tent campers, we really like getting up off the ground and not worrying about rain.

Congratulations! Lots of people here to answer your questions.
