I just got a 2021 Wildwood FSX 177BHX platinum
I have the switch panel

has water pump, water heater , lights lights
and then awning

I have no ceiling lights, and no obvious power to the fridge.
the awning works, Water pump works, the glowy leds on the stovetop work, though it didnt ignite.
Pressing the little check buttons had two red leds for everything unless i had waterheater or pump on
then it showed 3 lights. which is weird . seems to suggest that having those things on somehow creates more power and more water? no idea whats goin on there?
The fans all work, including the fan above the burner, but the light on the fan above the burner doesnt work anymore.

but the no overhead lights thing is bothering me
Whats extra strange is i have a power jack on it and theres a light on it.
and the light on it also didnt work, which is weird to me cause the jack itself worked and i wouldnt expect that it would be a like.
LIGHTS full control that also controlled the jack light.
Its as if all leds suddenly died.

The 12v fridge also had no lights/ power

In summary:
no: Overhead lights, fridge, microwave burner ignition, jack light, stovetop shroud led, AC
Yes: Burner knob LEDS, stovetop shroud fan, overhead fans, waterpump, waterheater , jack up and down, awning in and out.
Furnace unknown cause i had the gas off.

the lights all worked when it was plugged in at the dealership
so IDk what it could be

I pulled my generator over to it to try to plug it in to see if i got a different result but didnt have the right connector and i dont have the converter yet, its in the mail.
I would think if there was a battery cutoff or a fuse somewhere by the battery that nothing would have power

any guidance would be appreciated.

Since all worked when plugged in at dealership it really sounds like the battery disconnect switch is OFF.

On most trailers the jacks, awnings, and even slides on some, are wired to the always hot side of the disconnect switch and things like overhead lights, pumps etc, are wired to the switched side of the battery switch via the power panel.

Look for a battery disconnect somewhere near the batteries for a start and make sure its turned on. Checking for operation of ceiling lights is often the test to see if battery switch is on with shore power disconnected.

Just a suggested starting point.

that was my first thought too and i looked around and didnt find anything Not sure where it would be. i looked in the storage box/under the bed. under the back bunk, in all drawers and cupboards and in and around the tongue
do they all come with one? i googled about it and found nothing

update. im an idiot.
my battery was just dead too low i guess..
its weird that some things worked and other things didnt. but i hookedu p a charger to the battery and everything lit right up

which i suppose this means i need to buy a power cutoff switch and install it.
but thats the whole thing i was trying to test is figure all this stuff out before we actually use it

On most " bumper pull" trailers the battery disconnect switch is often mounted on a cross brace under the propane tank tray.

As always this can vary but I'd check there. Mine was accessible by reaching behind and under tanks from the "street" or driver's side.

Another source of 12v power problems is a resettable circuit breaker that is mounted on the frame on same side but towards rear headed away from batteries.

😀Just read about battery being dead. Think most have experienced that at least once.

I'd still locate the switch and resettable breaker while waiting for batteryvto charge.

My first step is to check the batteries with a voltmeter. 12.6 is a full car battery. 12.0 is under 50% charged and you should not use it. You need to carry a voltmeter with you. Batteries are the weak link. If this is your first rv, batteries is a topic you need to study hard. Likely your rv is possibly set up to not last overnight.

Two leds mean the battery is discharged too far and you are damaging it by using it.

We had that issue. Some turkey at the dealership had turned on the closet light. Discharged the battery bank.

When plugged in at the Dealer, the converter was supplying 12 volts to the lights and other related items. And it is supposed to charge the battery. Now, if the shore power is off or unplugged, if something was left ON that would discharge the battery and zip no 12 volts for anything.

Plug in the trailer and let it charge for 24 hrs. Check the water level in the battery before doing so and fill to the correct level with distilled water. The battery may survive, although having been severely discharged, it may not fully recover. Just depends on its age and condition.

Good chance there is NO battery switch installed. This is normal, especially for single battery configurations. I added a battery selector switch and a 2nd battery to our TT. But I am one of those electronic geeks that understands this stuff.

Moved thread from the General Tech and Repair section to the Electrical and Charging Systems sub-forum.

I doubt that a Wildwood FSX trailer has a factory battery disconnect switch.
Other higher end brands, like Rockwood/Flagstaff do.

depending where you live / play

add some solar and it may be possible to never have to worry about battery charging
add Lithium (lifepo4) battery and have enough power to last on 12v (standard loads) for many days

Disconnect Switches and 12v breakers
best to find them and learn how to reset ... before driving down the road
last thing you want to do is search for them when you get to a campsite and you stand on a Fireant's nest
