Here’s a pic. While gassing up, I looked at the trailer side and noticed the siding had opened up, high on the driver side. I stopped at the next rest stop, got out my expando ladder, and pushed it back in the groove of the upper piece. Weird!

I’m having the same issue on my 2020 wildwood 171rbxl. I noticed it when I’m at speeds above 65, that the side bulges out from just aft of the front of the trailer to the escape window. I’m going to check to see if the insurance covers it

I think they should have run a bead of construction adhesive down the stud. Whether they were supposed to or not, I doubt any at this location.
My backup plan was Gorilla tape it to keep rain out til I got home. If it happen again, I’ll get some construction adhesive in there to bind it better.

Years ago when I had a 5er, I was stopped by a trucker at a toll booth in Chicago, he said my camper was coming apart. Sure enough two rows of metal siding were bulged and coming unlocked. Some construction guys got me back on the road with some wood strips and nails. Mine was wood frame construction. Found that the siding was only held to the wall with regular staples. I had to have the siding replaced.
