I tried to get hot water tonight brand new trailer turned on wall switch for on demand hot water getting E3 for a message cannot find any troubleshooting in my paperwork can somebody help

Most likely your propane line has air in it; make sure you have gas to the stove by lighting burners then try it again, may take a few times, mine did

In addition to Steve_656's comment, you must also have enough water flow to activate the heater. Start with full on hot water only. Then you can slowly turn the hot flow down until it starts cooling. once you find the flow level where it turns off, you can notch it back up until it turns on. Then add in enough cold water to get the temp you want. Once you've gone through this learning process, you'll be able to get to your desired adjustment much more quickly each time.

Also in my trailer, the hot water switch is outside behind the grill.

I have a new East West 1900mkk with an ST60. I was getting an E6 error. As soon as I turn on the hot water faucet, the water started out at 130 degrees and rapidly climbed thus reaching the safe temp limit and quitting. There is a black button on the propane tube on the hot water unit I read somewhere to reset it. But it felt like that was not doing anything when I pressed it. I emailed Suburban and the reply was "We don't give troubleshooting steps to the general public" Took it to an authorized Suburban dealer and they could not reproduce the error. I think mine happened when I was running off tank water but not really sure.
Then winter hit so no testing for me. I went to Amazon and bought a new one with a thermostat just case.

Suburban Is Not user friendly as you learned. Do a Google or Yahoo search with the make and "troublesooting" in the search. You will most likely get answers or troubleshhting manual to download.
