Walmart has folding tables that are I think five feet long, just under $40. I only use it for the coffee maker, ice maker and snacks for the kids. But it fits nicely in a small spot in my bunkhouse and serves my needs well.
Been a grill fanatic for years and this is the finest small grill I have ever used. Heats to 600, perfect grill marks, and very lightweight. I don't like buying the small 16oz propane bottles it's designed for but there is a simple way to convert to the bigger bottles or an external RV propane line. Information can be found in the Amazon reviews section. The side trays fold up over the lid giving it a small storage footprint. It is spendy at $199 (Home Depot or Amazon) but it cooks perfectly:
Weber 51010001 Q1200 Liquid Propane Grill
Costco has a great table which folds in half and has a handle. Friends bought the one at Walmart and wished they would have paid $10 more & got the Costco one.
I have a quick connect fitting installed on my Propane tanks and use a Weber Q120 gas stove. This sits on a light weight AL table that folds up nicely and stores in the basement of our 34RL Cedar Creek.
Just got the Weber Q1200 grill a few months ago and it seems to work great. Took it out of the motorhome to us at home for the winter months. Faster and easier to use than the big gas grill.
Have a fold in half 2x4 foot table we got at Sam's Club that we use at camp grounds. Fits in the outside compartment with the folding bikes.
For a table, look at the Kamp-Rite Kwik Set Table. Made like a quality tool, compact, super easy to set up, and stable as a rigid table when set up.
A bit pricy, but you will definately get what you pay for.
On Amazon for a lower price now...$64.83 with free shipping. Last year I paid a bit over $74.00, so its a bargin now. But I would still pay the $74 if I had too. Its that good.
Grumpy
We have one of the plastic folding tables that has adjustable legs on it it works good.
and we just bought a blue rhino cross fire grill on sale, we will see how it works year.
we used to carry a Colman road trip but that thing is heavy, trying to lighten the load
I have the WeberQ200, but looking for a grill that is a little easier to store. Looking at the stainless model they have at Sam's and the Cuisinart CGG-306, along with the Kamp-Rite table. Have to get something before our next trip at the end of March. I really want to get the Davy Crockett pellet grill, but that's huge for a portable grill, and not sure I want to spend the $400 on it.
I like the Olympian 5500, I think that's it. It's easy to store. You can attach it to the camper when cooking. I have to buy a new one. It can be hooked to a twenty pound tank
We have the stainless grill from Sam's Club and a Kamado Joe Jr that we always take with us. The SAMs club grill works very well for the cost, and stores easy. It works well on one of the Walmart folding grill tables.
The Kamado Joe is awesome and allows me to smoke, grill, and bake anywhere. At about 70lbs, it is heavy.
It is only a 13" diameter, but can handle five racks of baby backs or two racks and a half chicken.
SAMs grill was $99 and the Kamado Joe was $399 (at a Costco Road show).
