There are white plastic surrounds above all the external storage area door frames in my 21-Isata 5 28SS and I suspect on all of that series for the 2020 through at least 2023 years. My plastic strips are detaching themselves from steel frame to which they were adhered. I tried self-tappers to retain them, but they cannot be drilled into the frame far enough for their heads to avoid scratching the top of the compartment doors when closed. Has anyone had the same issue and what adhesive did you use to supplement the unremovable material the factory put in place. It's a gooey substance that has lost its ability to retain the plastic trips to which they once adhered?
