Help please. Fresh water is filling grey and black tanks!!

2020/1- 28 ss Explorer
Filling the fresh water tank ahead of a trip. Water not registering on Firefly or visible in the tank. Noticed the sinks filling and the shower tray. Both grey and black tanks which were empty and showed empty on Firefly were full.

Fill valve was set to Fill, pump off, Low drains closed, and no water drains from fresh water valve or overflow. No faucets on and no water backing up in the toilet.

Does anyone have an idea of where to look? I have never heard an instance of the fresh water inlet connected to the grey or black tanks in 30 yet of this pursuit.

When I winterized, I simply drained the tanks. Every left the Truma not bypassed but the filter removed. Temperature never dropped below 35 in closed storage. No leaks evident in Wet Bay or under the sink.

Help....

Asked and answered on FB page. I had connected the fresh water hose to the flush valve. It's clearly labeled and marked with a different color. But it's lessons well learned without too much damage.
We all are learning.
Thanks for coming back and letting everyone know the outcome. Many never do but your post(s) will help others.

An insight from this experience. When refilling the fresh water tank, especially at the beginning of the season, the filter for the Truma water heater must be in place. I was surprised to find the water pouring out of it once I connected the fresh dill correctly. I don't remember this being a gotcha in previous recommission steps. Although this the first time I started with a dry fresh water tank. I normally leave about 50%.

2 mistakes there
first is using the wrong connection point ....

second
keep the valve for flushing the black tank closed
you never want it mixing with gray water
you mentioned sinks PLURAL so that means your gray tanks were open too

if black water got into sinks .... your toilet will have been flooded
best if you remove the toilet to clean any messy residue that could be under the toilet and on the flooring

-------------------------------------------------------------
always make sure black and gray tanks valves are closed
other wise when you remove the cap to attach the stinky slinky...... you could be covered in an almighty BIG stinky mess.
Just the thought of it while typing... makes me gag!

Yeah - the valves were open as a residual of the winterization process. Never happens otherwise.
I have the Truma macerator toilet which has a one-way valve so luckily nothing backed up there.
And as I wrote, tanks were completely clean having been flushed extensively for winterization so lucky again.
