Hello new owner and at this forum. We have been seasonal campers for several years. This year we had finally been able to get "the site" we waited for so we bought a new camper, makes sense 😄 at an end of season. In our second time seeing the camper on our site I opened it all up to fool around with new electronics and closed up for winter. Went to site yesterday and I am unable to find the power cord that plugs into camper and then to post. Is there a specific cord I should use ? It's 30 amp. Our other camper would push in and close. I have a 22 shasta 310k. Is there a part number I could go buy. Tried searching my manual and didn't see it and there are plenty on Amazon but I'd rather know i have correct one.
Thanks

A picture of the connection on the camper would help. Standard 30A power cords are available at Walmart and other like stores.

Yeah pics probably would help. I didn't take any, thought maybe brought it home. I'll go back this week and look again and take a picture. Thought there would be a standard for this camper.

The main difference in 30 amp rv cords is the length and color. If you're on a permanent site, get the length that you need to reach the plug. Extra length is more expensive and not needed.
You may need a 'locking' cord which most newer rvs use. It's got a locking ring that holds the plug firmly in place.

Look again for the cord. I felt rather foolish when I couldn't find the yellow cord that my previous trailer used. Turns out the new cord for my REV was black and blended into the storage compartment's black interior. I may never live that down after someone found the cord in two minutes.
As mentioned above, Walmart or any RV store stock cords. You can buy them on Amazon and I've done that for an rv extension cord.

Welcome to the forum!

Most campers use a 30-amp or 50-amp RV cord. They are not the same. The 30-amp cord has 3 connections and the 50-amp cord has 4 connections. Connectors on the camper are twist lock which means they plug in and then twist to lock in place. Remember "rightie tightie, leftie loosey". There is always a guide pin which must be aligned between the camper male connection and the cord female connection. The power post type connection is always a plug in with the cord having the male pins and the post having the female connections.

Thank you everyone for the replies. It didnt look like it screwed on. It was a square box lid I had to open. I need about 20-25ft.
Feel really silly asking about it as much as misplacing it. But, I get a pic probably Tuesday afternoon and be certain.

Did it look like this?
