I want to install a Maxxfan in the bedroom. There is a hand-crank vent (no fan) installed so no roof cutting is required.
There is no power to the cutout, though.
My trailer mfg. has a color coded wiring document. (see pic of relevant part of document)
They have two 12v wiring schemes:
1. 12v for interior lights
2. 12v for interior accessories (fans, radios, etc.)
A ceiling light fixture is near the bedroom cutout and it would be easy to tap into that wire run.
The nearest fan is in the bathroom and I would need to try and snake a wire from it to the bedroom.
Does anyone see a problem of using a light fixture circuit instead of a vent fan circuit for powering the new Maxxfan?
Both circuits are always hot (as long as battery switch is on) so I'm hoping the answer is "no problem".
