TOPIC: Precision Plex “no MIDI-PCS Module” and “no MIDI-PCS Module comm” and “no Digi-level Module comm” errors.

ISSUE:
I have read a couple posts on this topic but I cannot seem to find a resolution to solve the issues. Bottom line is that my slide-outs no longer operate (open or close) when these errors are present on the Precision Plex control screen.

I arrived yesterday at the Western Dynamax owners gathering (site 172) in Granby, CO with my Dynaquest XL 37RB. I’ve talked to a handful of the wonderful people here but no one seems to have experienced this (yet) on their coaches.

I am getting two different errors depending on which screen I am looking at on the Precision Plex (see attached pics):

1) “no MIDI-PCS Module” error
2) “no Digi-level Module comm” error

One odd thing is that these error message appear to be random. Sometimes it goes away and then it comes back. But the end result is the same… rendering the slide-outs inoperable. The only slide-out I am able to override manually is the dining/living room slide out using the control buttons in the cabinet with the Aqua-Hot and Equalizer switches.

On one of the 2019 forum threads, someone suggested checking the “RJ-11 like” network jacks in the wet bay to make everything is still connected and I did that but nothing is disconnected.

If anyone has experienced this issue recently and has a solution to resolve it, I would greatly appreciate any advice you have to offer.

I tried calling Precision Plex and Dynamax Service today but apparently they are closed after noon on Fridays. Just my luck. I’m am stuck here until I can get my slide-outs working again.

Thanks

Oooffa.

Sometimes a switch is SO much better than fancy. I’ve nothing to help you with, but see this on a professional level with aircraft systems too. All the gee whiz stuff is great until it’s not.

No Digi-Level module comm

I have this same issue now while hook up to 50amp. What was your out come to the problem?
