Premium trailer axle suspension parts

I am in a position of having my suspension parts taken apart and changing out to premium parts.

Equalizer:
I have found a couple of reasonably priced models from Morryde and Lippert.
Are there any other suggested brands?

Axle spring bolts:
I've seen suggestion for wet bolts, but also that they are not all they are cracked up to be.
Other than standard bolts, are there any suggestions?
I figure bronze bushings would be a minimum

I ordered a MorRyde spring shackle/wet bolt repair kit through Amazon. Those parts were premium enough for this old guy.
 
I've looked at various wet-bolt kits and conversions. My conclusion, it was best to put a couple of drops of oil (not WD-40 or the like) on each side where the bolt goes through the spring eye. Might try some of the PTFE dry lubricant if one is concerned about dirt accumulation.

From the best I can tell, the wet bolts have a single weep hole for the grease to come out of into the bushing.
Does it matter the orientation of the bolt so that the weep hole is set in 12/3/6/9 o' clock position?

Obviously the bolts in the shackles can not be changed, but the three bolts in the frame hangers is my question.
The greatest amount of wear is at the 6 position, but that doesn't necessarily make it the best position(maybe even the worst) for the weep hole.

Place the weep hole at the 3 or 9 oclock positions so the weight of the trailer does not prevent you from adding grease to the wet bolt.
 
As a frame of reference, this is what came off and what will go back on.
The Morryde is beefier in every way.
I will say that I am somewhat disappointed in the paint job on the cre3000. The other one looks like it was thrown down the driveway a few times before being boxed up. I’m sure it won’t affect its operation though

Picked-up our new TT yesterday and drove it an hour home and all is well but the one thing that gives me pause is the single-axle aspect, so I am gonna wanna become a suspension tech to make sure nothing fails catastrophically in that regard.

I don't even understand the terms (wet bolt? weep holes?). Anyway thx lizARdman15 for the thread and pics.
 
I am by no means a mechanic in any way, but this upgrade is almost stupid easy. tomupnorth, even easier on a single axle.

Considering that I am from SC, and a USC grad,... I know stupid! I've lived it, done it, witnessed it, and had to fix other people's stupid ideas.

On that note, had I read the directions more thoroughly, I would have noticed that Morryde suggested that the wet bolts should be positioned parallel to the road. no matter if 3 or 9 o'clock.

I am going to suggest to all my camper friends that they do likewise. It really should not amaze any camper owner how much the manufacturers cheap out on things that really shouldn't cost them much more to do right to begin with. Even just the bronze bushings.

Wet bolts can be greased, there is a small hole drilled in the end with a grease fitting, then a cross hole drilled in to let the grease out to lubricate the fitting/connection.....

You ain't just whistlin' Dixie there, brother. Our TT has been in "storage" (parked outside here Up North) for just two years but it is appalling, and I *am* amazed, at how much corrosion has affected outside parts. Crazy.

Wife is the painter in the family--I have already given her the Go signal to Rustoleum everything she can out-and-under this thing. She painted our 18' boat trailer stem-to-stern a year or two ago and did just a wonderful job of it.

Well cut-off my leg and call me Stumpy. I get it now, thanks. Almost 76yo but still larnin' new things ereday.

Road Armor or CRE 3000... And a yes for wet bolts... There is a reason that old school tech is still being used...
