This morning whilst camping low of 34 I could hear my furnace blower running but was only blowing Luke warm air and even tho it was slightly heating it was also trying to ignite.
I went out to check my tanks and the one that was switched on via auto regulator was empty .
Went other side where auto regulator was and the regulator was froze over and must have been half switched.
So I shut heater off and tank off and let it thaw for 5 minutes.
Turned tank back on and then the furnace
The auto valve switched and away it went everything fine.

Hopefully this is helpful to others who may have a similar issue.

Had the same experiance in mine. Although mine made it all the way to complete shutdown. I'm the autovalve as the Columbus rigs use manual switchover. Flip the gas valve to the other tank, furnace ran like a champ.

I installed the pressure indicator guage gizmos and it helped out somewhat. All they do is tell you your full and than magically, within a very short period of time, your tank is empty. Sooooo look for the beginning of needle movement and that is like a low fuel ligh going off in your car/truck.

Good to know. Our camping plans for weekend got cancelled, so I camped in street so I could use the furnace. Although it only got down to 40 the furnace did good all night.
