The windshield on my 2024 Isata 3 was just replaced and recalibrated at a Mercedes dealer. I just picked it up and discovered that they installed the quadview camera display upside down. More importantly, the display does nothing when I try to turn it on. Does anyone know whether this is something minor that I can rectify on my own? The dealer is more than an hour away and I have doubts about their experience level with Sprinter based RVs.
Thanks in advance for your input.

No hands on-experience, but some quad-view camera systems (esp for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans) allow you to invert the image on the monitor. This is often a feature within the system's settings or OSD (On-Screen Display) menu, enabling you to choose how the camera feeds are displayed.

Hope this helps, and saves you a trip!

Thanks for the reply, RhumbleFish. Unfortunately, I can't get the unit to power up and I am not sure how to make that happen. I am afraid they have pinched a wire when they put it back in, or never secured the connector.

How is it that you drove the rig home, and only after arriving home you notice the quadview camera installed upside down and is not working properly?
This could become the ongoing argument where they’ll say “it was working when we tested it”, or “ we didn’t touch anything to do with the camera system”.
This could become a “he said/he said”.

Because the display is so hard to see on the road I really only use the rear hitch view camera when backing up. My focus was on ensuring the various safety features were functioning until I reached my storage location.

Can you take a picture? I seem to think we could only clip it to the rear view mirror...or we just mount to their stalk.

I have attached a couple of pics. It looks like the display is attached to the original rear view mirror stalk. Is there is a plastic cover over the opening behind the display? I would like to get one if there is one.
I was able to resolve my issues. The culprit preventing the display from powering on was a loose multi-pin connector. After multiple resets and tightening the connection with electrical tape the display is now functioning again. The upside down display solution was to simply rotate the display 180 degrees.
