Correct. Not a ton of them around and it mostly has to do with the affiliation to Isuzu that dates back to early 90's maybe it was even the 80's. At any rate they have had far longer to sort this issue out and its still not a great network.

I take our F650 to a heavy service shop that's technically a International dealer but they will service any heavy chassis as long as its not manufacturer defect warranty work. I was tempted to call them and ask about the cummins portion of our rigs as they are a warranty service center for heavy duty cummins stuff that comes in the international chassis's. I may still try as they are super close to me and great to deal with.

Seems RAM just need service centers dedicated to commercial trucks in more areas (I assumed they did already) due to all the hot shot trucking rigs out there, but in fairness I have not seen any other RAM extended as big as the I5.

AFAIK and per RAM, there are no commercial truck centers in the DFW area. Which is weird given that its the largest truck market in the USA and RAM's as well.

In fact I don't believe there are actually any RAM commercial truck service centers, anywhere. They certainly do not advertise.

Tempe, Arizona RAM no longer doing RV service

Brought my 30fw in to Tempe Ram this week for first oil and filter change. In and out in 2 hours.

They installed a 40,000# long lift in December and even raised the roof. I asked and they said they could handle 38ft long units.

Ask for Brett and tell him Tony sent you. He was great to deal with and better than Earnhardt Ram, who I used beforeView attachment 269592View attachment 269593View attachment 269594

Tempe RAM in Arizona is no longer doing service on RVs. They have had numerous accidents on their property by their staff ( body work) and management says its not worth the trouble.
They do have a very tight property and the building entrance/exit is restricted.
If anyone else has found an Arizona dealer willing to work on our rigs, please let me know. I need to have my brake recall done!!

Happy to do it! I have been successfully added as an editor and was able to play around with the map a bit to get my bearings. What a great tool! I've added/edited based off the last few new posts on this thread, so the map should be up-to-date now.

Arizona dealer doing Ram Brake line recall work??

Has anyone found a dealer in Arizona that has successfully gotten their brake line recall work done?

Add Elliot Chrysler Dodge RAM dealer in Carthage, TX. Fuel and brake recall service done there, all on the ground. No lift service on RVs over 30'. Indoor service.

Affordable Tire Truck Repair in Carthage, TX has capability and desire to fix any tire, suspension issue, immediately. Good rates.

Klement RAM IN Decatur, TX, I doubt they have lifts for RVs, but will fix indoors, without hesitation, because they can.
So many issues can be fixed without lifts, jacks only!

Hay Hodge RAM, Paris, TX, limited garage height, close to 13' but will do recall work outside. Free ballcap.

I always fine it interesting when the "we don't have a lift to pick that up" comes up. Good to see some folks are still willing to work on it on the ground. Very few things do they NEED a lift to do IMO.

Eastern Virginia Ram Dealers

I know that there is a Google Map out there that is being used to help identify dealers that will service the Isata 5's... Is there a method for removing dealers from the Map that we have confirmed WON'T service them? I have tried every dealer east of Richmond, VA and have not found one that will service them. Whitten Brothers of Ashland is willing to work on items that do not require a lift but can't do several recalls (wheel studs and fuel pump) because a lift is required. I do not think that these two should be shown on the Map:

The map is on the very first page of this thread. You can click on the link, open the map, and update whatever you would like.

However,...we should not remove them, but put a note as to what they can and can't handle so no one tries to take it there.

So, they need to be on the map, just properly notated.

In the process of getting an Isata 28ss that needs the transmission recall (71A), I talked to Gilroy this morning, and they said they can do it.

They have to drop the transmission and are aware of the height. With this information, their doors might be higher than 12'. OR one of us was wrongly informed.

The "door height" is the height to get the rig into the shop...not the height of the ceiling in the shop. Glad they can help you!

After calling around (and talking to Dodge corporate customer support), I found a Dodge dealer in Tallahassee, FL (not far off I-10) that can do engine/chassis services that do not require lifting of either axle. So, oil changes, filter changes, tune-ups, belts, etc. However, no tires, brakes, or anything that cannot be done under the coach without lifting it. The dealer and POC info is below.
