Recommendations for shower faucet and hose

I'm wanting to replace the faucet and at least the hose for the shower. The faucet squeals when warm water starts going through it, and the hose just doesn't swivel, so as you move the shower around, the hose doesn't allow the head to move much, so it can twist the head in your hand.

I must need more wax on-wax off practice for my google-foo as I can't find any hoses or shower heads that have a proper swivel.

Plus, the valves on the faucet are unlike everything I've ever used. Clockwise opens up the cold, but clockwise closes the hot...

Head to Lowe's or Home Depot or one of the other big box stores. They will likely have what you need. And better quality too.

Without knowing, [or seeing] what you have, it's hard to point you in the right direction.

I mean it's just a standard rv shower faucet with the wand.

Thanks. I've been having a hard time finding the whole faucet, hose and head that has a swivel hose, or at least says it has a swivel. Might just have to get the hose, then swap the hose onto whatever faucet we get

That is exactly what most of us do.

I always replace all the cheesy OEM faucets in all my RVs with good faucets of my choice. Then I purchase a shower head I like and purchase the hose separately. I like the longer, segmented looking hoses. They are much more flexible. I have never needed a swivel.

Shower head replacement

I was looking for a new shower head that turned off at the head so I didn’t have to turn off at the water volume or temperature once I found that sweet spot…
I went to Lowe’s and just bought a residential Moen with a new hose and head. It just happened to swivel, shuts off and adjusts the spray pattern. Easy to install and has worked great for at least two years now.

This is what I purchased from Amazon. Great for short people and tall people. Just need to find your own shower wand.
