I have been reading posts about the RecPro brand recliners.
We are looking to upgrade to a reclining loveseat on our Puma.
I have read about some issues with the Suprima fabric not lasting very long with peeling.
Does anyone have feedback on the Brisa fabric?
Does it hold up over time or is it just same story, different fabric?
Thanks

We purchased 2 RecPro recliners covered with fabric. The original ones were covered in vinyl or plastic, and they flaked like most do. We love our fabric-covered recliners.

We have no dogs or rug rats to damage the upholstery. We always eat inside at the table or outside. Just two old adults, which have been known to spill a cocktail. Dang it!

When I replace the original jack-knife sofa it will be with two wall-hugging recliners from RecPro, covered in fabric. No more plastic furniture!

Plus 1 on the cloth covered RecPro 58" Recliners/Loveseat. We ordered the Fossil (gray) color. After 3+ years of use, the fabric has not worn, frayed or held stains from DW and me, our GoldenDoodle (RIP) and our grandchildren. We also enjoy not sticking to the Suprima vinyl and find the cloth to be very breathable.

The frame of the recliners is fairly heavy duty, able to be installed by one person (72 yo) and has held up very well (occasionally, grandchildren use reclining mechanism as an amusement ride). The motors seem very robust and run well on a 300W pure sine inverter when dry camping.

The footrest raising-mechanism has "caught" a couple of times with a bit of a "thunk" but seems to recover right away. I've checked the mechanism and could not find the problem. It happens so infrequently, we are just living with it!

HTH,

Theo
