Refrig turns on with battery switch

Hey all

2021 Sunseeker 2250LE, 12v fridge, Magic Chef WD-282FWDC

Each time the battery disconnect switch is turned on, the fridge turns on and if we aren't ready to use the fridge, it must be manually turned off with a 10 second hold...

Reading the manual, I don't find anything where the fridge remains off and must be turned on when desired

Am I missing something? Assuming this is not possible, anyone worked around it or is this something I just have to live with?

This has been discussed previously.
Many of these newer 12v compressor refrigerators are auto on with a power cycle.
Some folks have added a switch inline on the power source.

Finally got around to installing the switch today, works great
