refrigerator running on generator

2012 DS Amana double door fridge. I cannot run the fridge with generator. Only shore power or when traveling on gas. I put it on auto but it just flashes auto-LP back and forth. Am I not doing something right.

Wondering if your "Auto Transfer Switch" is bad? Does everything else work as it should off the generator? If not, that would be my first thought. Hope this helps

Check the breaker button on the inverter. Then, as he mentioned above it could be that your transfer switch has a problem.
