For those with the Samsung fridge, it can be put into demo/store mode by holding Fridge and Cool Select Zone buttons for 6 seconds, when things start flashing, press the Door Alarm button. This should Display O above with FF down at bottom (spelling OFF). This should disable cooling/heavy power consumption. To re-enable, just do the same steps again.
