Rockwood 205S Bathroom Water Filter

Good afternoon,
I have a 2021 205S which has a water filter under the bathroom sink.
I need to replace the element in it but have not been able to get it open.
I have used the wrench that came with it as well as a band wrench,
If anyone has any trick to get this open please advise.

Just to be sure... you are turning off the water (pump or city) and opening a faucet or two to release any water pressure?

Sometimes a bump on the filter tool handle with a dead blow hammer or chunk of 2x4 will loosen. And... righty tighty, lefty loosie. Think of an upright soda bottle and holding the cap. Now turn the bottle to loosen, that's the direction you want to turn the filter housing.

The OP has a 2205S, not a 205S.
