Power distribution box
The power distribution box is located in the engine compartment. The
power distribution box contains high-current fuses that protect your
vehicle’s main electrical systems from overloads.
Fuse #10 (DRL lamps) and relay #1 (DRL on/off relay)

Relay module
The relay box is located by the power distribution box in front of the
radiator in the engine compartment.
Relay #2 (running lamp) also relay #4 (headlamp DRL)

Passenger compartment fuse panel
The fuse panel is located below and to the left of the steering wheel by
the brake pedal. Remove the panel cover to access the fuses.
To remove a fuse use the fuse puller tool provided on the fuse panel cover.
Fuse #19 (DRL relays)

These suggestions are per the 2001 F53 motorhome chassis owner's manual.

All of these items are related to a DRL issue. Don't know if somehow tied to a taillight issue also.

I know its an old post but did you fix the issue? I’m having the same issue on a 2005 Forester. I don’t have an OM and my distribution boxes aren’t labeled.
