I like my Dynamax Force for the most part but driving it wears me out after about 4 hours of driving. The seats are probably just the basic supplied by Freightliner for a typical day cab LTL truck. They are “air ride” but that doesn’t make sitting in them comfortable, in fact if you put a little air in it raises the seat making it taller putting pressure on the backs of my legs. With that said, I’m looking for an upgrade that is worth doing to lessen driver fatigue. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

warning the "bostrum" wide ride worked out HORIBLE for me, gave me a backache. went back to stock seats, lowered.

I'm also interested in a seat "upgrade"; to get swivel capability (seat comfort is ok in my 2025 Europa). But posts I've read mention two issues: 1) The seat is wider and thus misaligned with the steering wheel by a couple inches. 2) The swiveling base is not stable; wobbles a little while you are driving.

For those who have "upgraded" their M2 seats (Bostrum or other), any comment on those issues?

I assume you've found and read this thread Complete Historical Guide to M2 Swivel Seats Our europa came with swivels which we really like and use a lot. Once I upgraded the seats by adding a second shock underneath that's helped. Unfortunately the air height on the drivers side leaks somewhere I can't find right now so you've got to add air about every 15 minutes. I've sprayed soap all over the quick fitting and no bubble show up. I think I'll have to unbolt the seat and lay it backwards to look at the other fitting. The lumbar air stuff doesn't leak down so I know it's only in that circuit.

The seat not being centered is an old issue so is any wobbling

We replaced our 2021 XL seats with Bostrom Wide Ride Serta seats with swivels 3 years ago. Absolutely love them. I posted about them in another thread a long time ago. My wife broke her back in 1995 and over the years her pain and endurance level have gotten worse. She could not sit more than 15 or 20 minutes in the stock XL seats, so I ended up driving alone most of the time. She would sit in the theater seats.

Once we replaced the seats with Bostrom Wide Ride seats she can now ride up front for an hour or more at a time. I also find them much more comfortable and I am not so fatigued at the end of a long day driving. Anyone interested, and coming to the Eastern Rally in June, is welcome to stop by rig for test sit.

I'm aware they are old problems, thus my alert to the OP. Do we have a seat solution today that addresses seat comfort (OP's request) and/or swivel capability (my request), that doesn't compromise seat stability or alignment w the steering wheel?

BTW - I have read your "Complete Historical Guide..." post (thank you for explaining the situation), but I haven't seen an update since September.

They haven't really given me one. I did order another set of aftermarket ones to see if that was viable.
