Sell Canadian Camper trailer in USA

Hello community, this is my first topic and I have a specific Question. Let me introduce myself quickly first :

My name is Guillaume, and I am a French-Canadian resident who has been living in Montreal, Quebec, for the past 12 years. We purchased our camper trailer in June 2024, (at dealer in Quebec) for a road trip project, spanning several months across the USA. However, due to professional and personal reasons, we are now planning our return to France.

We are therefore looking to sell our camper trailer in Florida around December 2024 (we are currently in Texas), and I found someone interested in it.
I truly wish to move forward, but I just want to confirm that I fully understand the process.

The specific question: Has anyone here done this before—purchasing a camper trailer from a Canadian? I'm just a bit unsure about the customs process, as I am not a U.S. resident.

It is a 2024 Forest River - Salem 29 View in excellent condition (like new).

Welcome to the forum. A quick search turned up this website. It addresses exporting from Canada fairly well. A key take away is if the manufacturer will provide a OEM Compliance Letter. I start by contacting Salem to see if they will provide one.

Easiest is to sell in Quebec as they will want the sales tax and you can get a steamie or two when your in labelle province.
