Looking for suggestions from all the fabricators out there!

I am tired of having to pull the shampoo and soap from the shower surround every time we drive. Or better yet hearing the shampoo crash as I drive down the road.

Anyone fabricated something to adhere to the surround to keep bottles and soap from falling when driving’s?

Pictures and directions would be great.

Thanks!

I install a dispenser and I love it, it has never fell off the wall and no more bottles.

Have he same/similar from Bed,Bath & Beyond. You can screw it in or use provided two sided tape, which is what I have done. 3 years and rock solid.
Rusty

We also use the type similar to the suggestion by lacrawgator. Ours is just a double. Comes with a bracket that allows us to slide it up and off the bracket to refill, and then slide it back on the bracket. Installed the bracket with a few of the command adhesives. We take it down for transit and put it right back up when we arrive at our destination. No falling off, no clanging around, no clean up. Well worth it in my opinion.

I stole this idea from somebody on the IMG_0129.jpgIMG_0130.jpg forum-can’t remember who? First trip is Friday so we’ll see how it works out.

I cut 1” wide strips from a semi flexible white pvc material I had lying around. I bent the ends under with a heat gun to fit the angle of the corner shelves in the shower. Used VLB double sided tape to adhere them to the shower wall about 2” up from from the shelf and sealed 3 sides with silicon, left the bottom open as to not trap water. Worked perfectly for the back half of last season.

We have a mesh pocket thing we purchased at a rally. But as someone said above Air also purchased a cheap small plastic basket (ours looks like a small milk crate) from Walmart and leave it on the floor.

We use a cloth hanging shoe organizer. Hangs from a towel rack via two carabiners. Nothing falls out, and we can take it down easily for cleaning the shower or washing it. Lots of pockets!

These suction-cup safety handles are available in lots of sizes and shapes.

Installation is simple, even for the novice. Find one with enough depth for your shampoo bottles. Clean and dry shower surface. Press handles in place. Close levers.

The best part is that if you want to do something different, there are no holes to deal with. Just lift the levers and the handle will come off.

Shower bar

I installed the three section holder from BB&B. Been 2 years and still on. Like it so well bought one for our house. My daughter liked it so much I bought her one!

We used an over the door shower hanger similar to the picture. You can buy them on-line or at one of the big box stores. you may have to modify the hanger to fit your shower enclosure, but ours worked perfectly. WQe didn't have to unload it when traveling and nothing fell out. Just be sure the back of the shelves are enclosed and/or the rack has suction cups that hold it to the door.

I have a holder that looks like a shoe thing that hangs over a door, but made of mesh. It has about 9 pockets that are deep enough to keep items contained. It hangs over the shower rod. Works well. Don't remember if I got it from Walmart or not.

Shower bars

I found this on one of my FB group page Forest River Class A Motorhomes

Jim Kille Sr I used a piece of cardboard to make a template, for cutting out the wood, and a block with sandpaper to shape the attaching ends to the contour of the surround, trying to make as much contact as possible, then simply attached with contact cement. Be very careful using that stuff it can make a really bad looking job if not used correctly. I left about an 1/8” along the edges using NO contact cement, then used a quality tub chalk to seal the edges. The bars have been installed for about a year, so far no problems..
