We have a rockwood mini lite 2509s. On our trip this past week the shower diverter broke. Looking to replace the faucet itself( upgrade). Our rig has the shower miser on the faucet. I was researching new shower faucets. Haven't seen any with the ability to attach the shower miser. I haven't looked at the faucet in the shower yet to see what it will take to replace it. Just wonder if anyone has replaced their shower faucet and if there is a special faucet for the shower miser. Thanks.

What are you referring to as a diverter? Typically, this is a gate valve on a bathtub fill spout that diverts water to a showerhead. Many showerheads nowadays have a shut off valve baked into them.

Looking to replace the faucet itself

The showerhead? A regular replacement for the poor quality plastic showerheads in these trailers is pretty much anything from Oxygenetics. We upgraded with this one and have been quite happy with it:

You don’t need anything special, the shower miser is completely separate. You just need something to replace the silly plastic showerhead that comes from the factory. Something with a hand shutoff is nice.

Just my .02. Hope this helps.

Thank you. By diverter, I mean the little handle you pull up to change the water flow from the faucet spout to the shower head. Our rig has a " bathtub," so the shower faucet has a spout on it to fill the tub. I just need to replace the cheap faucet that came from the factory. Wonder if the shower miser is a separate thing or does the new faucet have to have a place to attach the shower miser. Hope I explained it well enough. Thanks for the help.

Do you use the bathtub fill? Looks like it is big enough for toddlers or dogs.:)
If not I would look at a shower faucet only then and hook the shower miser up to it.

Preinstalled shower miser was one of the reasons I went with Rockwood.

No we don't use the bathtub. Thanks for the reply. I was gonna eliminate the fill on the faucet, just wanted to make sure the miser didn't need a special connection. We like the shower miser. It is definitely a nice feature to have. Thanks again.
