Hey everyone,
We just bought a 2022 sabre 37fll. Its got the schwintech slides. And weve ran into an issue.

We just got back from our first trip a week ago. Unhooked in the driveway and put all slides out and leveled no problem. and its been sitting there for about 5 days.

The batteries were all the way dead because we still dont have a 30to20 amp converter. so dead that the LCI touchscreen wouldnt come on. I had to hook up to the truck (2018 ram 2500 cummins) and let it run for about 15 mins to let the volts build up to about 11. once it build the volts up to 11 i had to reset the touchscreen which ive never had to do before. once it did i attempted to put in all slides so we could head out.

We went out today to load up and go out for new years and one of the couch slides would not come back in. All of the other 3 slides come in no problem. Even though its all the way extended, if we try to extend the motor makes noise like its attempting to extend. But if we try to retract, we just hear a clicking down below.

We tried switching controllers for the couch slides and that doesnt help. tried reversing the extend and retract wires, that doesnt help.

I was doing all of this with it hooked up to the truck with the truck running.

Can anyone help so I dont have to rely on the delaer for this?

You are going to have to get the RV batteries charged up and hooking to the truck is more likely to burn up the truck alternator than charge your RV batteries.
If you can’t locate a 30-20 amp plug adapter, then my next plan would be a generator that has a 30 amp plug.
Plug it in and let it run for a few hours before you push any buttons.

You can get a "puck" adapter like this at any RV shop, and I've even seen them in Walmart. I used one for years with no problems when I had 30 amp coaches.

Another option is to use an automotive battery charger on a standard extension cord to charge the batteries. Using the TV is not a good option if the battery is dead. Don't rush it it will take some time to recharge the batteries if they are that low.

Plug into ac using the puck or some other adapter, I use my jump box on occasion and that’s what they used at dealership just connect like going to jump start, if you have top terminals on a car battery pull it and use it to get ready then put back other battery. While I have never done it guess you could use jumper cables ( I assume you used 7 pin connector first time try that way
