I was at Fort Bragg NC had an ice storm was getting ready to leave and THe slides are my last thing to pull in. Load and behold. I heard this Tremendous snap and crash had ice about an 1" thick on it. My point of the story is that how would I get that ice off the slide roof without a topper....Just be careful if retracting after ice storm.....a couple years ago in MS had 2 inch sheet of ice on mine.....a 3x6 sheet 2 inches thick can do some damage falling from 10 feet.....I always watch the slides go in so got first hand view......make sure all clear below.....as hoses and electrical are usually in that area.....even the 6 x 8 sheet on TV bed cover can damage when you push it off.....
Why would anybody try to leave a C/G if there was/had been a Ice storm anyway? Just sit tight and have a Drink!I was at Fort Bragg NC had an ice storm was getting ready to leave and THe slides are my last thing to pull in. Load and behold.
