Living in a 32 foot travel trailer, has two slides, question Is do i need to support the slides

Moved thread from the General Community Discussion section to the Tech and Repair section's Slideouts sub-forum since the OP's questions are specific to that particular sub-forum and are not general community questions.
 
No supports..I was told to make sure slide is either all way out or all way in…nothing in between.
 
Trailer should be leveled first, left to right and then front to back. Use blocks under the wheels to level. Then fully extend the slides. No support is needed or recommended.
