No. Modern slides need no support and manufacturers advise to not use them.

No supports..I was told to make sure slide is either all way out or all way in…nothing in between.

Trailer should be leveled first, left to right and then front to back. Use blocks under the wheels to level. Then fully extend the slides. No support is needed or recommended.
