I bought my trailer from this dealership between Valley View and Sanger, Texas 10 years ago. Saturday night their business and those surrounding them were hit by a tornado.

In first pic, RV dealership is center right margin.
Shell station, convenience store, truck stop is frame left.
Marine dealership is in center beyond gas station and RV dealership.
Their inventories were all scrambled. When I passed by the RV dealership last Monday, their surrounding parking lots were covered with RVs!

wow what a mess and big loss. Hope everyone is ok. Later RJD

Damn, that's a travesty. The sirens went off here but it hit further west and north.
Any idea if the feed mill was hit? That's where our sheep feed came from back in the day.

I don’t live there. I just bought a trailer from the RV dealership. As I remember, the feed mill is in town and this intersection is almost 4 miles south of the mill. The tornado wasn’t that wide.

And that my friends is why you never stay in an RV if there is a tornado warning.

That's one more checkmark in the "towable" column. I have a nice heavy pickup to hunker down in as a last resort.

This was an 18 wheeler before tornado.

The point was (and missed?) there is better chance of survival in a vehicle with a greater weight to wind surface ratio. A brick outhouse or any structure or vehicle would likely be eviscerated in an EF5.
