I've had my AW 26DBH for 3 years now. I would like to change the 4 tires. Any suggestions/recommendations? Also, what do most people do when changing tires? Take trailer to dealer or DIY? Finally, do the wheels need to be balanced?

When I replaced my Castle Rocks 3 years ago I went with the Goodyear Endurance tires and have been very happy with them. I couldn't get over the difference just in the weight of each tire. The Goodyears were so much heavier. I did have them balanced. You'll get a lot of opinions on that one but the place I bought them at does it for free so I figured why not. I took the tires over 2 at a time rather than try to get the trailer into their parking lot and then take the chance they don't know how to properly jack one up to get the tires off.

Goodyear Endurance. They aren't cheap, but they are cheaper than replacing all the stuff a blown tire might rip out.

I prefer having mine balanced, I had mine balanced because as he said above, the price was the same. I had the tire shop do all the work, but I live in a very small town with lots of ranchers and tourists/travelers, they know the right way to jack trailers up.

The goodyrs are a good choice but IMO to expensive you can get Carilse hd trails just as good as the endurance or even the Hercules tires are made pretty good . have owed them all and like the carilse best

I put 5 Carlise tires on our trailer. I jacked up the trailer, placed jack stands under it, removed all 4 tires plus the spare and headed to the tire shop. They mounted and balanced all 5. I wouldn't do it any other way.
