I am looking at pole mounting my king omnidirectional antenna on the travel trailer bumper and ladder. It will only be attached at camp. I tried it with a 15 foot extension pole i have and tv found 11 channels vs 3 when at 3 foot. I also raised it temporarily to 30 feet and found 27 channels.

Questions:
Do campgrounds have limits on pole height?
Anyone try the docapole? they come in several lengths. Are they sturdy enough for a small antenna?
Any other suggestions for poles or height?

Thanks Pat

I don't know about campground regulations, they would not be universal anyway. I have seen some fairly tall antenna masts and flagpoles at various campgrounds I have been in but do not know heights. I did find a telescoping antenna mount pole that they advertise being for RVs as well as other uses. You could adjust height for whatever the regulations would be.

CLICK HERE to see what I came across. There are a number of different brands out there but most are significantly more expensive.
