Upgrade to Vortex fan but different lift handle

I've seen several YouTube videos showing how to install an upgraded vortex fan but all of those have screw knobs that raise the cover up and down. I have a Salem FSX 161qk that has pole handles that lift the cover and lock into place. I've not found any installation videos that encounter this type of cover or how to install the fan so that the cover still works. Any suggestions?

Can't use the vortex it won't work with your vent . you'll need to replace the whole vent so may as well go with a maxair
