Feels like a kind of silly question to ask, let me know if this is not the appropriate place to post. I'm having trouble finding answers anywhere. I've been trying to troubleshoot an ongoing leak in my Rockwood Ultra Lite 2020 and recently got an adjustable valterra pressure regulator, since for a while I've had a cheaper one set at 45-50 psi. For some reason after installing it, when turning the water on, the gauge isn't giving me a psi reading. Is this thing just a dud or is this normal? Thanks in advance.

You posted in the correct place.
Does water flow through it correctly or is it plugged?
Can you post a pic of the issue?

Gauges can fail. If it is flowing water, put an external gauge on it to see if it is holding pressure. If it is just replace the built-in gauge with a new one. If the pressure is off or won't stay at the set point rebuild or replace the whole thing.

Does it actual flow? If it does I've had to remove the gauge more than once over the years to clean out a calcium(?) deposit plugging the inlet to the gauge. It has a very small hole and I have to use a small piece of wire to clear it out.

If the OP comes back ...... As it has been mentioned the gauge may be bad. Ours froze one year and I went to Lowes and bought a new gauge ( unscrewed the old one and screwed a new one on)...... 10 years later it is still working fine.
