Vent knob

We've misplaced the knob that goes with the main vent fan. Apparently the 1/2" and 1" window fan knobs that you can find just about anywhere are too short to reach the mechanism, yet I have not found any replacements that are deep enough to reach.

Anyone else find something compatible?

I have no idea what a “main vent fan” is and have never seen a window fan.

They used to make extensions for those things and you just used a longer screw. I have no clue where a person would get one, maybe try eBay.
