Viking 11000 ROK

I have ordered a Viking 11000 ROK camping trailer from a dealer and purchased two 100 amp hour Battleborn lithium batteries from Dragonfly because they were on sale for Presidents' Day.Dealer doesn't sell Battleborn and my brother swears by them. Dragonfly and the dealer both told me all I need do is tell the 30 amp controller the batteries are lithium. Simple I guess. I have to ask because the camping trailer has not been delivered yet. Does the 30 amp controller have an inverter built in it or do I need to buy/install/have installed an inverter to use the 110V outlets to power a 110V television when not plugged in to shore power? Don't want to bug the dealer since I put money down but haven't taken possession yet. Thank you

I doubt that anyone here has a Viking ROK. So you probably would be better off by contacting the dealer.
Viking is a very small division that doesn't sell many trailers, compared to other FR divisions. And the ROK line is brand new so there are probably not many out there yet.
When you say "30 amp controller", do you mean 30 amp CONverter? Controller is usually for the solar panels.

The ROK webpage doesn't show an INverter included.

The Viking division has been a Forest River brand since FR acquired Coachmen, back in 2008. So Viking has been a FR brand for 16 years.

I saw no inverter in the specs or in the options

NOT hard top install a small inverter for TV or even some K cups


IF you only really plan for TV use... you can install a smaller 12 to 20v Converter $20-40
will power many TV's that use a power brick

Check the BRICK for the correct voltage and amps the TV requires
easy DIY install ... make sure you put a on/off switch for the small converter too

PS... the converter can be used to charge laptops too.
