Water Purifier question

Researching for a new TT and one of the options is a Water Purifier. I know nothing about these. Do they use 110 or 12v or no power at all? Most of the time we are not camping with hydro. As such it may be useless to us. Having said that the same spot where we camp usually has a boil water advisory even tho' the chlorine level is pretty high.

Can someone enlighten me on this? It would be in a Puma. Thanks.

all it is a water filter that is mounted between the water pump/city water inlet and the faucets.
on entry-level RV's, like the Puma, this is any option, whereas it's a standard item on other RV's.

they usually not much different than the ones you find at HD or Lowe's and don't require any electricity. just water pressure, like at your house.
they use the same cartridges that the home ones use.

works on city water hookups or using water from your FW tank.

We already have a couple of those. Use them to fill the tent camper. So therefore shouldn't add much to the cost of the trailer huh? Thanks for the info.
