Waxing a TT

Hello,
Looking to se what people are using for wax on there TT? I have a Rockwood mini lite with Azdel side walls and wondered what would the correct product to use to wax the unit? Are people using just a typical automotive wax or is something special that needs to be used because of the Azdel surface?

If it were me, I would use Meguiars Ceramic spray on wax. Use it on all of my vehicles. Its light blue in color. With the vehicle still wet you just spray it on, and then just spray it off with the hose. Personally, I spray it on, then use my hand to rub it all over to make sure it all gets coverage, then spray it off. But the instructions dont mention a requirement to do anything other than spray it on a rinse it off. An RV is a lot of surface area, but spraying on and rinsing off is a lot better than waxing by hand

It's been a few years since we've had a tt, but Meguiars is a good product. We used their boat wash and wax products which seemed to hold up well over time.

This topic is often discussed and everyone has their favorites.
I was a Wash Wax ALL fan until someone turned me on to this stuff:

Gel-Gloss RV Wash and Wax - 128 oz.

It shines better and lasts longer than anything I've used.
Just wash your rig with it and rinse.

it will be a lot more work

set a schedule based on how much UV you expect

I thought this topic was humorous for a while, until I started seeing some sun damage on my old trailer. Good wax provides UV protection. New trailer is 5 years old but looks new because the previous owner waxed it. I am now a convert. Lots of good products now. Pay attention to UV protection.

I've always used Meguiars Marine products on our boats and trailers. Always very satified with the results and the effort require to use them. A power buffer used very carefully so as not to damage or blister the surface is a big help.

303 protectant is worth using on any part that is not fiberglass.

X2 on the 303 Protectant. Somewhat expensive, $59 a gallon on Amazon, but well worth it. I've used it since the late 80s during my boating years. I had a black fiberglass top part of the boat sitting in a boat slip with the Summer sun reflecting off the water. I used every known waxing product available to try and stop the sun oxidation. Nothin worked. Until I found 303.

Best product out there with high UV protection used on virtually anything including smooth surface fiberglass. The front cap of my motorhome is gel-coated glossy fiberglass and I'll apply it to that portion of the RV several times a year after I wash my rig, which is before every trip out of the driveway. Excellent protection for your RV tires, I even had a tire shop recommend it to me when I bought new rubber for my prior RV. Guy was surprised I knew of the product. I also use it on my slide-out seals, dash area, vinyl furniture in the RV, and the leather seats in my car.

I apply with a DA polisher so as not to burn the surface or damage decals. Then, buff off by hand.

X3 I use Meguiars Flagship Premium Marine Wax on both my boat and MiniLite.

I use the ceramic spray that Semperfi24 mentioned on my trucks and suv.

I use Mequires ceramic spray also on both our SUVs about 4-5 times a summer after washing the cars at home.
