will two 31 group batteries fit

I have a 2024 coachmen apex 264RKS camper and want to fit two group31 batteries on the A frame.Will two batteries fit? thanks for any insight

Car batteries are not a good choice. Lithium or 6 volt golf cart batteries.

Measure! Batteries of all sizes are available. Gc2 will fit however they are a bit taller.

I would put a big lithium battery in there. Second choice. Interstate gc2 batteries. Costco was the best deal in the past.

You may need to add some timber into the frame or get a welder person to modify the section where battery boxes can go

If you use pressure treated timber
Use some sort of galvanized or plastic flashing to keep the timber off the frame galvanized bolts to hold timber in place

You can also look to see if a tongue toolbox would fit the batteries then you may have room to put decent battery disconnect , shunt, or busbars
