Windshield replacement for Freightliner M2-106 2021 Force

So I have been going arond and around with Safelite for a windshield replacement for my Force. This is week three, and today I am told that there is no replacement glass in the Phoenix Az area, and the glass has to come from Indiana? Considering that the Freightliner M2-106 may be one of the most common Freightliner trucks on the road today, it seems to me rather incredible that is the case. It also seems odd, that the glass is supposedly only available from Indiana, perhaps Elkhart? Did they call Dynamax instead of Freightliner to locate glasss for the delivery truck chassis? As it stands now the glass has not been ordered as they are supposedly waiting on final approval of the cost from Progressive. So then there will be another couple of weeks to get this Indiana glass and then schedule it to be installed. I can't believe it is that complicated. Anyone know a more streamlined way of getting Freightliner glass replaced?

So I called the fist truck glass shop in Phoenix I found on a browser search. They have the glass for the M2-106 in stock and can replace it tommorow. They said very common. The original shop was provided by Progressive. All Progressive glass is now handled by Safelite. I contacted the first company and cancelled that. I had a feeling something wasn't right.

It would not be from Dynamax.... With the number of units that come out of the Ekhart area, it does not surprise me there would be ample stock....but then again, that's the beauty of the M2, same glass for many years, so should be cheap and available, everywhere.

I had the same problem with Safelite with a stone chip. They said they do not work on big trucks. I had o find a glass shop that worked with semi's for the repair.

Yep same here. Safelite replaced the last windshield. Now I'm told they no longer work on big trucks.
