We are currently parked next to the house and when on the deck are looking at the roof of our Isata 3. I noticed a blinking red light under the dome. Is this normal. I looked in the manual and it doesn’t discuss blinking red. Any help would be appreciated.

I guess it could be. The sun is there right now so I can’t see it. My son is going out to reset the satellite dish later, so I will have him look closer.

I was told the Wineguard connect 2.0 dome had a blinking red light but it still seemed to work most of the time. Still, why can't we standardize on stead green light is "All is OK", stead red is "warning" and blinking ready means "Danger Will Robinson!", though what should blinking green mean? Maybe "operating fine but slightly less than optimal"?

And what ever happened to the old 1980's system of the number of blinks corresponding to a list in the back of the manual that told you exactly what was wrong?
