Winter Storage

We just found out our dealer is no longer doing indoor winter storage.

There doesn't seem to be any other storage facility that has indoor storage capability for our 2018 Force 37TS.

Our thoughts are to purchase a cover and store it in the driveway where it currently resides during the rest of the year.

Can anybody recommend a cover appropriate for our Force that will not mar the beautiful paint?

That's a crap shoot. I only used a cover one winter and found wear on every corner where the cover rubbed from the wind. If it were me I'd not cover it for this winter and find some place to put it next winter. You'll find opinions all over the place. Me, I keep mine in an enclosed storage unit all year when not in use.

I hate RV Covers. I used one years ago on a 1994 Shasta. As suggested above, it put wear on every corner of the RV. Plus they are a bear to get on and off and I always felt lucky not to kill myself in the process. Lastly, my 30 foot (quality) covers cost about $400 and only lasted about 3 years each. I have chosen simply to not cover my 2019 Dynamax I3 during the winter. I don't like it, but it is better than the alternatives. Dean

I store mine next to house uncovered when not traveling. That said, mine doesn’t sit much. I’m in Wyoming for a couple months in the summer and Florida in the winter. Also several trips in between. I’ve never winterized it. So it wouldn’t make much difference if I had covered storage.

When I lived in NE Ohio we winter stored at one of several county fairgrounds. Limited dates from about 1 November to 1 April. Five (5) months. No access to the camper during that time. They told us when it was coming out -- their schedule, not ours. Pretty much last in first out. :) Before my boat trailer was stolen I also stored my J24 sailboat indoors at which had a high enough door -- had to push some of the suspended ceiling lights out of the way (the boat on the trailer was higher than the camper). Other fairgrounds buildings were full of sports cars during the winter.

I'd keep looking for indoor storage.
It might not be close and it might not be cheap.
If you can't find storage, you should probably give it a good coat of wax and leave it outside. As noted above, covers can cause a lot of damage.
